What is a YEM ?
The Youth Expert Mission is an international expert project realised on behalf of a sponsor operating in a developing country.
It takes place in 3 steps during a period of one year and a half, during which we will be supported by our teachers-researchers :

OUR SCHOOL
ISTOM is a french engineering school (5-year master) created in 1908. It trains and has trained more than 3000 engineers in 114 world's countries.
The 5-year training includes a first round dedicated to life sciences and economics, politics and social sciences. The second one is dedicated to the deepening of enginerring sciences and their pratictical application as part of development projects.
Those concepts will be applied during field missions. They take place during the 16 months of internships all along the background.
